Q
Hopefully this is not too ignorant ...
I want to do a JMP Capability Analysis of my Measurement Tool, i.e. what is my Measurement Capability instead of what is my Process Capability? In order to do that I need to be able to remove the Part Variation, as in a JMP Gauge R&R analysis. I can tell that the JMP Capability Analysis is using the total variation by looking at the Standard Deviation shown in the Capability Indicies or by the fact that only the Long Term Sigma is shown.
The reason I want to do a Measurement Capability Analysis rather than just do a Gauge R&R analysis is that I have many, many parameters to analyze in order to qualify this Measurement Tool. This is easily done with a Capability Analysis, but it only gives the Process Capability. The Measurement Capability (in terms of P/T ratio) can only be done a single parameter at a time with the JMP Gauge R&R analysis.
Thank you in advance for any help!
