KPC - Key Process Characteristic
KCC - Key Control Characteristic

It's been a few years, but I believe that it is:

• KPC = Key Product Characteristic
• KCC = Key Control Characteristic

In todays terms, KPC translates to Six Sigma's Big Y and Shainin's Green Y. KCC translates to Six Sigma's Big X and Shainin's Red X.

In layman's terms, KCC is the process parameter that you control to control the significant product characteristic or KPC.
