Last post indicator in threads with polls

I don't remeber talking about this before but maybe we have.
When there is a thread with a poll and someone votes this changes the time of the last post.
You go to the thread and the last post was in fact a year ago.

Is there a way round this?

We have, and the last I heard, we actually don't have a way around it.

Well, technically I can set the software to not update thew thread but then if someone votes on an old thread (even a week or two) there's nothing to bring it to anyone's attention. I like to know when a poll has been updated.

However, if you run across a poll that is a year old or more and it bugs you, you can close the poll so that no new votes are added to it.
