The link shows details of "Electricity Rules - 2005". I am searching for "Indian Electricity Rules - 1956 amended in 2005. Are these both the same rules or different rules?
In the mentioned link of "Electricity Rules - 2005", definition of Act is - “Act” means the Electricity Act, 2003. As per my knowledge there is an act called as 'Indian Electricity Act, 1910, so the confusion.

It appears that the Indian Electricity Act 2003 was last amended in 2007. Please see the following link for the actual act and the amendments.

I tried the link that you have given in vain. I have also pasted the link again and tried; as you have experienced it does not go to the right page.

The best way to access the relevant page is: first go to Ministry of Power, Government of India site ( http://www.powermin.nic.in/). Then click on Acts and notifications. You will be taken to the relevant page. You can download the act and amendments. Hope this helps the OP.
