What do you think about the usage of liquid-filled (glycerin) or dry manometers? Is there any recommendations on aircraft maintenance/aviation industry by the authorities (EASA/FAA)?
Liquid filling dampens the movement, preventing swinging of the needle which makes reading hard in case of vibrations or pulsative pressure (full scale swinging possible if you hit a resonance frequency) and acts as a lube, reducing abrasion.
