Does anyone have information on how to pre-qualify machine tool builders?
Any relevant information; procedures, check lists, etc., would be appreciated.

- what do you mean by prequalification ?
- are you looking for a list like supplier assesment
- are you looking for specific technical assesment, qualification question, quality, or business system
- if yes what industry (equipment manufacturing ?)

Hello György,
The company that I am working with is a very large industrial equipment manufacturer. They are undergoing a major expansion in production capacity and want to develop a process for pre-qualifying CNC machine tool builders. The company is a "metal-working" facility. I can not reveal more.
At this moment, I am working hard doing my own "home work", but I was just curious how folks (in other countries) have addressed this issue.
