Usually you'll end up conducting the actual training, which is probably for the best if your primarily focused on QMS related matters. But up to the point of your presentation to staff, I would recommend you have them involved every step of the way.

Continual improvements should not be viewed as a cost. Look for improvements that will pay their way and provide value to the bottom line. If your company is still slow, you are missing opportunities and your CI program should be looking for those.
