Hi everyone, this is my first post on this site and I hope I get it right.
The company I work for are OE manufacturers and produce military equipment which will be fitted to aircraft operated under CAA regulations (EASA 145 and part M).
My employers are ISO 9110 certified and I am located remotely from them in a hanger facility, the company running the facility are EASA 145 certified and operate the aircraft. I have been told that it is legally possible to do maintenance/repair work, off aircraft, on our equipment in this hanger facility.
Could someone give me a little guidance on the matter i.e. is this a case of documenting in our QMS that these maintenance activities are being carried out at the hanger facility or would it be in 145's MOE?
Many thanks for any guidance received.
Andy
