PFMEA, Control Plan and Work Instructions
I think it's usually best to keep all process documentation except relevant work instructions off of the production floor. It should all be accessible to anyone who wants to see it, though. If the FMEA process is properly executed, production workers were involved from the start, and should be aware. The PCP doesn't need to be on the floor if there are comprehensive controlled work instructions, and those instructions are referenced in the control plan. For this reason, writing of work instructions should *precede* or at least be concurrent with, the documentation of the control plan. The PCP and PFMEA documents are records, not work instructions.
