Hello need your advice please:
A company wants to go for the Baldridge Award, currently the company does not have a quality management system implemented such as an ISO 9001: 2008. Would it be best to try out for the ISO standard first and then to be followed by the Baldrige Award program at a later date.
I feel that the company without having the experience of having dealt with a formal structured QMS such as the ISO, going for the Baldrige would be too cumbersome and not the right approach and could actually not work out.
Must the company become SO certified, or just model the QMS around the ISO.
Let me know your thoughts to the above, really appreciated.
