Interesting comment, Paul. I have encountered a situation where a company had a 'management representative' for each of their departments. (!) There wasn't just one........
I have no idea what they were thinking and the person who told me this, seemed to be proud of the fact and didn't see that it wasn't likely to be effective...only that the external auditors never made an issue of it, so it must be O.K

You cannot have 2 MRs for one system. The principle is there is there is one person with resonsibility for the system. It doesn't mean nobody else works in the system but just that there is a single person who understands they carry the can for performance of the system.
