I don't know if this is the right place to post this question, but I hope I can get some assistance
Here's the thing: I want to order a manual lever-operated tensile tester (you can see picture attached), so we can test our wires with crimped terminals, but from IPC-WHMA-A-620B, I have a requirement that states that the speed for the pull rate shall be ≤1 inch/minute.
Now, my question is... is there any way so I can measure/control that the speed complies to that requirement and that the pull rate is constant (or at least, always under 1 in/min per the IPC requirement).
Any help would be hugely appreciated.

I don't think you can get there with that equipment. The revolution will give you three inches of travel, hence you would need to turn it at a rate of 1/3 a revolution/min. Not something you could do consistently manually which is what you need.
