Master Service Agreement and Quality Assurance Agreement

Hi all,
I needed guidance around the topics of a Master Service Agreement and a Quality Assurance Agreement. I am used to working on Quality Assurance Agreements for all suppliers/vendors, however MSAs are a little new to me as this isn't something that is drafted by Quality. Do you typically need an MSA for all high risk suppliers (Contract Testing Labs, critical components, etc.)?

Thank you in advance!

Are you in a particular (regulated) industry? I'm in medical devices and an MSA is not a requirement.

I currently work in pharma. I used to work in Med Device and never really worked with MSAs before (only QAAs).

You should check with your legal dept. Generally a quality agreement is legal under an MSA or LSA. Because it's a binding legal contract, our legal dept. requires a high level MSA/LSA for the QAG to be legally binding.
