Does anyone know what would be the tolorance for 12.42 mm dimention considering 0.4 mm on MMC. Does the 0.4 mm means that we have the tolorance -0.0, +0.7?
I'm not a GD&T expert but here's what I'm thinking...
12.42 +0.03, -0 for the diameter
and the 0.4 is the tolerance for the location - that's what that little target reticle thing means, right?

The 0.4 position tolerance is related to the location of the feature, not to its size. In the case of the feature in question, which appears to be an outside diameter, maximum material condition would be 12.45 (12.42 nominal + 0.03 tolerance). This means that the position tolerance will increase proportionately with decrease in the feature size. For example, with the feature at nominal, the position tolerance will be 0.43.
