I have been asked to come up with a method to analyze the moisture content of nylon pellets (PA12 if it matters) which we use to coat our product.
The pellets are received from our supplier dried (moisture content <0.1%) however the material is hygroscopic and will pick up ambient moisture if the bags are left open.
I am looking for a (relatively) inexpensive and fast method of measuring the moisture content of these pellets, preferably without using any external chemicals.
If anyone has any suggestions or recommendations, please let me know.
Thanks in advance.
