Measuring OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) for each Job, not for Machine

Hi,
We are a extrusion company. Our production run could be a duration of several hours or several weeks. I am trying to measure OEE for each job, not for machine. How do I define and calculated availability?
Thanks.

In my experience availability was calculated using a period in time, normally a 24 hour period, or 86400 seconds. My advice would be to calculate your OEE for your run like you were calculating it for a 24 hour period, Availability being the total time of the run.
