Calvin and Hobbs

It's "noir", I guess, if you read it that way. I have read C&H going back many years. I don't even remember how many years ago the cartoonist stopped doing the strip. Yes - The snow people strips are/were interesting to say the least. They are Calvin. Calvin & Hobbs is a comic strip some people love, and some people hate. And - Some people just didn't "get it". I can understand.
Pretty much I have posted the comic I posted in the first post in this discussion thread every year in my "Happy Holidays" post/thread. To me it's the classic Calvin freaks out scenario (somewhat rare). That is Calvin and his relationship with his dad. I have known fathers like that. As to the "snow people" scenes, yes - Noir. Calvin all the way.
