Hi everyone,
We try to perform a Gauge R & R on a LASER SCANNER (Krypton, Leica, or any other type of Laser Scanner)
With 'standard' instrument, we can measure 10 points (it's even possible with CMM & Laser Tracker and very easy with micrometer & caliper....), by 3 users, 3 times, then the calculation.....etc...etc....
But with Laser Scanner, since we have thousands (even millions) of points when scanning a surface, how can we compare THOSE points from scan to scan
We end up with 9 scans of thousands of points each, that's a lot of points to compare...:mg:
So, what would be a good method to ananlyse, and determine the uncertainty of the readins of a laser scanner...???
Thanks!!
Jeenan!!!
