Hi I'm new to this forum,
and I apologize if I put this on the wrong thread.
I'm the Q.C. manager at a small company, and one of my job requirements is calibrations. I'm currently doing thread plug calibrations using thread wires, and I've come across a problem with 2 gauges which I can't find the specs. for. A M33 X 1.5 6H & M26 X 1.5 6H. I've searched through the Machinists Handbook 28th edition and come up with nothing. I also searched the web and came up with nothing. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!

With a quick look at my reference materials I was only able to find one of your specs.

M26 X 1.5 6H

Go PD = 25.026mm / .98527in

NoGo PD = 25.226mm / .99315in

Maybe my lack of formal training is the issue here, but how do you establish the Min (Go) & Max (NotGo) allowable tolerance for your working plug gage with only having the nominal pitch dia?

I used page 21 from this catalog for my reference:

I was actually looking at Jim Wynne's posted links which gave me the information I was looking for, or at least I thought so at first glance. The first thing that caught my eye was the M33 X 1.5 6H. I didn't notice the M26 was not on there right away, and I was involved in 5 other things at the same time. So I responded to quickly not taking the time which I did not have in verifying that both were there. So I still need the information for the M26, and obviously yours is not enough.

Here is some information on the M26 thread. I found this in an old copy of H-28 in section 22:

Thanks for the reply's!
But " Mr. Happy " the software download is a demo, and is locked on a M10 thread only. " Hodgepodge " the spec. you posted is for a M22 x 1.5.
