I am hoping someone can help me with an annoying problem
We are using auto data input into an excel spreadsheet and I would like each time data goes into one cell, corrosponding cells to automatically enter date and time.
I am currently trying to do this using =IF function '=IF(J10>0,$F$2,"")' where J10 is data entry cell, and F2 is a =NOW() function. This works as in putting in date/time but unfortunately continues to update itself.
My question is can I insert date automatically "via If function" but have this date remain static?
This needs to be auto entry it takes too long to be manually entered
Any help with this would be greatly recieved
Thanks Nigel
