Your thoughts, and any other best or worst practices you can share...best if firm name is redacted...purpose? To enlighten all, myself included to hopefully learn from the experiences of others..

a bit of follow up here..and again ti bears repeating, from my perspective this is not merely a Ford matter, this just happens to be their turn on the dunking stool. That said the following article is a good follow up, as it (at least from my perspective) exhibits some degree of customer compassion.

But if we follow the issue timeline, if we are to believe the newspapers reporting, the misdeed, or omission of the right actions, pale in comparison to the firm's equivocation, creation of customer ill-will and rationalization post problem identification by the public and media

Using RTV on large components on PCBAs in order to pass shock and vibe tests.
