Where can I find specific information on how to satisfy the ISO & AS9100 requirements for validating test reports, Certificates of Conformance? Does this ONLY apply to raw materials (as in AS9100A)? How would you validate product received vs raw material? I have huge differences in the interpretation of this topic between the last two (outside, independent) auditors.

I don't have AS9100 handy, but I am very conversant with ISO9k2k and the info we gave you in
http://elsmar.com/Forums/showthread.php?t=7290 thread was all accurate. Each incoming product (finished like an electrical connector, semi-finished like bar stock, or raw material like iron ore) has required basic specifications or characteristics according to your purchase contract. Your validation of whether the product meets the requirements is going to be unique to each product.
What more do you think you need? The Standard says the organization does what is necessary for
its operation, including anything special a customer may ask. I have lived with FAA regulations as a certified Parts Approval Holder. They're finicky, and they don't require anything more than we told you before.
