MSA: Can we still use the second edition?

As a supporting manual to TS, the MSA now is 3rd edition. But I found it is more diffcult to apply in company than 2 edition. Can we still use the 2 edition.

Can you elaborate as to why 3rd ed. is more difficult to apply?

I will tell you that we got a minor once for using the "old" revision of the FMEA manual so I doubt you will be able to get by using 2nd ed. MSA manual (it's been out for 2 yrs.).

As for understanding and application of MSA, we have a complete forum here dedicated to Measurement Systems Analysis with wealth of knowledge. If you don't find an answer to any particular question, please feel free to ask.

On second thought, you MAY be able to use the second edition (though I'm not too sure about this) IF your customer(s) accept it.
