We have recently had our first assessment to QS9000 and were requested to do an MSA study on a heat shock test.
A sample is heated to 150C for an hour and checked for any cracking and the shrinkage is measured with a ruler.
The auditor wants us to do the study on the thermometer that we use to check the oven temperature, but we are a bit confused as to how we should do this. Any ideas?
Should we just be calibrating the oven and doing the MSA study on the (probably unacceptable) ruler?
