Is there anyone that works for a spring manufacturer that is NADCAP certified for the Heat Treat process? I have questions regarding our continuous belt driven ovens. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
My question is this: Is Stress Relieving of stainless steel wire considered a Heat Treat Process? Does it fall under the NADCAP rules or does NADCAP strictly consider when you change the properties of the material such as when you use 17-7 CRES wire and need to make it meet CH900 specification?
