Hi Covists,
Wondering if any of you are encountering shared checklist issues.
During a Heat Treat Nadcap audit, an auditor is issuing findings against AC7101/1 which is not part of the scope though we are filling out AC7101/3 checklist. They do have guidance that "certain AC7101/1 requirements apply in HT audits" but the Task Group did not identify what these "certain requirements" are.
Reviewing their MOU it seems implied that HT auditots can only audit against AC7101/3 RTT requirements:
"All questions applicable to room temperature tensile testing in AC7101/3 will be covered as part of the HT Task group audit, except the job audit in AC7101/3 need not be completed as the majority of the items called out in AC7101/3 can be verified by the HT Task group job audits in AC7102.
All other facilities will be assessed by the MTL Auditors to AC7101/3 and AC7101/1. All NCRs will be reviewed by MTL Staff Engineer and closed by the MTL Task Group."
From their latest meeting minutes. There seems to be a statement regarding EASA mandating single route accreditation which endangers these MOUs and even AC7102/5.
Any news or insights regarding this?
