Hi, I'm an Industrial Engineer student. I'm taking Facilities Layout/Design this semester, and our first research assignment is on the General Flow of Facilities Design. Are there any other resources for this subject aside from Google Books? I've been searching in Google and have had very limited results. Could anyone here give me online resources or at least an idea of what the general flow is. From what I understand, the general flow would entail processes from receiving to shipment in manufacturing facilities and receiving to leaving perhaps in service facilities. Am I anywhere near the topic? I would appreciate the help very much. Thank you.
