Well I am about 62 yrs old male from Nepal and am presently teaching medicine to undergraduates and postgraduates as well, in one of the best known medical colleges in Nepal,Nepalgunj Medical College.I am an Internist and A clinical Gastroerterologist. Apart from these usual clinical works I am very much interested in studying HUMAN ANTHROPOLOGY and ethnic behavior in relation to contemporary political structure.I like reading books and enjoy life in whatever dimensions it comes.I consider sexsual behavior as PRIME DETERMENAT of human personality.I am sorry if it is turning out as a boring lecture. HI Guys,
I'm Jeff, Currently working with a specialised water/wastewater utility company in the UK (OnSite Central Ltd), I am responsible for getting the company certified to ISO9001 with the added"bonus" of certifying a small production line to comply with EN13980 Atex, equipment for use in "potentially explosive atmospheres".
My ongoing plan is to gain certification for ISO 14001 and OHSAS18001 over the next 12 months.
I have a background of 6 years in the Royal Engineers, "Army" and 7 years in fitness management, I have been working in Health and Safety for the last 3 years and have achieved a NEBOSH diploma and am also a IRCA registered Lead Auditor for ISO 9001.
Looking forward I intend to gain a diploma in environmental management during 2010.
I enjoy keeping fit and am a regular Runner and mountain biker.

My Name is Oziel Cardenas

I am currently a Quality Engineer working for a Fluid Conveyance & Fluid Power area, A New Manufacturing Facility in the Reynosa Mexico Area.

Obviously that means I am working in the Heavy Vehicles field.

I have been in the quality arena since 2004 and have worked in the super market industry; I have been in the maquila since 2004 when I joined a German supplier SIEMENS VDO

I Googled myself here several times so I thought I'd join!

1. My name is Elisabeth Egerblom
2. I'm working as an quality management engineer and also have environmental issues on my desk... We are aiming for certifikation in ISO 9001 and ISO 14000 and I am trying to get things together...
3. As a IWE Welding Engineer I should be working in the Welding industry but I am reecently working in the Water purifikation industry
4. I'm working for Wallenius Water in Stockholm, Sweden. An environmental technology company, working with sustainable water purification
5. I've been working with QMS for two years with a one year maternity leave (twins!)
6. I am balancing work with three children, one 3 year old and two 1,5 year old...not working full time....
7. My pet peeve in quality is that everyone at my company wants the QMS but no one wants to set aside time for it, except me....

Hi All and thanks that there is such a forum where one can look into a mirror of problems (they are all the same) and find a pool of solutions (there are so many different views). Already, I have a sense of voctory!!!

1. Name : The name is Sheldon Ball
2. Job Title or explanation of what you do: My title sugests that I am a Quality Assurance Manger (somebody please explain)
3. Industry you're in or have been in: I am currently in the Electronics field (manuafcturing access control systems). My experience is not vast at all with 7 years in the industry or company
4. Company you work for and location: Impro Technologies South Africa (Durban)
5. Length of time in quality function: I've started out as a Quality inspector seven years ago and have since been tasked as QA Man.
6. Something personal that sets you apart: I am the youngest QA Manager I know and have many years of experience ahead of me.
7. Your pet peeve in quality (pet peeve is a minor annoyance that can instill a great level of frustration) : Policing fellow managers, its painful to be behing people of senior positions
8. If you could change the world of quality, what would you do?: Ensure that each manager in an organization has qality as one of their KPA's.
