Dear Elsmar,

Good day fellahs.

I am a newbie ISO consultant here in Abu Dhabi. I am a Computer Engineer w/ 5 yrs degree and has an intensive work experience on IT for 4 yrs in a call center industry (serving Microsoft Security account) previously, while doing so, I am also into part time IT instruction for college students and personally do hardware support such as Networking, Assembling and any kind of PC support.

Now I have gone switching my field into ISO consultancy and I had found so much interest into ISO 27001:2005 & ISO 20000-1:2005. Hoping that this site will add more knowledge to me as I beat this new challenge on my new career.

I am starting to put my interest of reading all the posted forums and topics here w/c i find it very informative and useful

Thanks guys!

Re: New Folks - Please Take a Minute and Introduce Yourself/Say Hello! Take 2 (2009)

I am a former theoretical physicist that a few years ago became involved in education research and professional development. Almost all of my focus is on input processes, especially as they relate to the Demings cycle. I was so shocked to see such scant attention paid to process management in the education field that I recently decided to focus on ISO 9000 certification.

I am not an ISO auditor or consultant; rather, my focus is on providing support services for auditors and consultants. I need to learn as much as I can about ISO 9000, so I decided to register and jump in the discussions here.

This forum is much appreciated.

Hello to everybody,

I'm a new member of that society. I've been in quality issues for over 10 years. Specialized in SixSigma and Kaizen projects (6S BB and Kaizen Expert certified). I've been working mostly in Medical Devices & Diagnostics (Johnson & Johnson), being responsible for CE countries in sales and marketing, esp. new business opportunities. Then I worked for financial groups incl. brokerage houses. Currently I work as a consultant in strategy, process and risk projects. I am located in Warsaw, Poland and do projects both domestic as well intl companies.

Hello!!!

I'm Jhun Cadungog, 33 years old, working as the ICT Head for a group of Companies here in the Philippines, engage in deployment of Seafarers & Landbase workers for constructions, Oil & gas & manufacturing firms. Along with it, Im the Assistant Manager for MArketing & production of our Furniture MAnufacturing company. I'm also assigned as one of the Internal Quality Auditor and been doing it for 2 years now.
I'm currently designing automated systems for the organization guided by the Quality manual of the org.
I came across this forum and i think this will help me learn more & sharpen my skills to be an effective auditor.
For me, quality has no tolerance, it must always be within the standards,, it should not deteriorate but instead change for improvements.. It does not matter how big or small the company who implement it,,, what important is that it should always be the best.
