No Product Design?

I have a questions that might have been asked and answered several times in the past, however I am confussing myself again. (Common problem).

If you are not responsible for design of product, exactly which parts of 7.3 do not apply. This is my take and I would like someone to correct me if I am wrong???

Included (Atleast portions of the following):

7.3.1
7.3.1.1
7.3.2
7.3.2.2
7.3.2.3
7.3.3
7.3.3.2
7.3.4
7.3.4.1
7.3.5
7.3.6
7.3.6.1
7.3.6.2
7.3.6.3
7.3.7

Excluded??
7.3.2.1
7.3.3.1

During the registration audit we were told that we included to much. Is there a standard - include / exclude list for only manufacturing process design? :ko: :bonk:

I see that no one has answered this yet, so I'm bringing it back to the top of the list of latest posts. I too am confused. The more I read it, the more confused I get.

Our ISO upgrade audit to 9K2K was conducted in August (2003) and we passed with no non-conformities, no OFIs, etc. We do no design activity, and therefore the ENTIRE section 7.3 was not applicable.

The two facilities that were upgraded were a machine shop and a fabrication shop. They receive customer drawings and make the products according to them. This may not be apples to apples with your business, but I thought I'd give your this much at least.
