Re: Notification of Updated Procedures
For us, the process (document) owner sends the new/updated document(s) to me (QMR) and I upload them to our controlled server, (they only have read-access). After these are published, I send an e-mail to everyone at our facility advising of the new document.
By me doing it after publishing it, ensures in the most timely manner that people are aware of the revised document. Since the document owner does not have write access to the server, they would have to wait until I did my final review, uploaded it, and then notified them it was done.
It's crude, but works here.
