Hey all,
I'm trying to find sources for what NRTLs demand for hipot tester tolerances. We are experiencing drift in our older hipot testers, and want to guardband them better. Anyone know what UL/Intertek/etc. expect with respect to applied voltage and leakage current tolerances? I'm suspecting relying on manufacturing tolerances is not adequate...Our reports just indicate a requirement for 1500Vrms, 40-70 Hz. No tolerance given.
Note: This is consumer/ITE, not medical, if that makes a difference...
