I have a Klingelnberg Oerlikon CS200 which I'd like to add to our calibration program. I've contacted Klingelnberg to schedule calibration, however they are unable to calibrate the instrument due to the fact that they have not developed a procedure for this model.
Essentially this is moving Z axis device on a rotarty table designed for tool set-up inspections. This instrument measures variation from cutter to cutter and adjusts the cutters as necessary. Does anyone have this type unit and calibrate or verify it on a regular basis? If so, what is your method? I'm not overly concerned with following ISO or other standards, persay, NIST traceability is my only requirement.
Any suggestions are appreciated!
