Hello all,

Just wondering what the % is in your place of employment? I was thinking ours is rather high but didn't have anything to compare to so I thought I would ask.

Office = 30% of all employees
All management = around 35% of all employees

The percentage is usually about 10% lower, we have a few layed off right now.

This would vary with the type of industry and the nature of operations. With the wide variety of Covers representation, I do not think this data would show any Comparable spread

Good point, I work in manufacturing. I was only asking out of curiosity anyway :bonk: Guess I should have put this post in the coffee break section

What do you consider to be "management"?

Supervisors?
Salaried personnel (as opposed to hourly)?
Administrative positions?
Department managers only?
Superintendents?
Facilitators?

I am just going by what my company considers management for the %, it's very well defined. All office personnel are management down to department leaders.

Our ratio is 11%. Supervisors, managers, and licensed professional/technical staff make the "management" team according to our definitions.
