Packaging level

Hello all, i am not sure how we should use the packaging levels in UDI. The GS1 company prefix and item reference + check digit are only 13 digits. so i have to put a "0" before the code and that would be GTIN-13 format. Is it possible to increment this "0" at the higher packaging levels? e.g. "1" box, "2" palet?

If you chose GS1 for labelling of UDI, you should follow their standards for labeling and packaging level determination: GS1 Standards in Healthcare | GS1
In general, your approach is compliant, but I still advise you to check the standards...
