Pallets need to be changed when raw materials are transferring from WH to MFG area?

As subject, I would like to ask whether the pallets need to be changed when raw materials are transferring from warehouse to manufacturing area? even the cleaned plastic pallets have been used in warehouse.
Current practice:
1. Raw materials are prepared by WH keepers for following dispensing process performed by MFG OPs.
2. WH keepers put allocated raw materials on WH’s pallets and send them to buffer room which is connected with manufacturing WIP room.

Is it must to move those raw materials from WH’s pallets to MFG’s pallets in buffer room before entering MFG area?
Or
Is there an alternative procedure to avoid changing the pallets when raw materials are transferring between different grade areas?

Hello Eric and welcome to the Cove

If you transferred the pallets directly from the WH into manufacturing, what would be your controls against contamination via the incoming pallets?

Those pallets are cleaned and dedicated for raw materials preparation, however, the potential risk still comes from the floor of WH, right?

Yes, cleaning or replacing the packaging of raw materials have been defined in the material transfer procedure.
