Peculiar problem with my CSSGB exam with ASQ

I have a peculiar problem with my CSSGB exam with ASQ. I have registered to sit on Jun 1 from Bangladesh. However, last week I got a mail from ASQ that they have set my exam site @ India. I have only 2 weeks left and initially I was not being informed that I may have to cross border to sit for the exam. I have already informed ASQ that there is a exam site in Bangladesh and requested them to change the site there. In reply, I was being informed that exam site I requested for, is not available for June. I informed them that I am unable to join the exam site as (i) it takes about 1 month to get the visa of India and getting the visa cannot be confirmed (only two weeks left for the exam) (ii) I have to spend a big chunk of money and time I want to travel to India (which itself is subject to getting the visa). In reply they informed if it would be possible for me to arrange a location or a proctor to take the exam. I just replied that this is also impossible for me within such a short notice. Also, in Bangladesh there very few people certified by ASQ and I do not know anyone. And I requested them to give me some suggestions based on ASQ's policy and practice. This was the story of last Thursday. I also called them and they requested me to wait for the email reply as my request is already under process.

And till now I have not received any feedback from ASQ. Can anyone pls suggest me some way forward. I have just 12 days in hand before the exam but still not sure what is waiting for me.

If you can find someone to proctor the exam for you in Bangladesh, then assuming ASQ hasn't mailed out the exams yet, you should be able to get ASQ to send the package to them. I've run into issues in the past in the USA where they wanted me to go a longer distance than needed to take an exam, and it was mostly due to the folks sitting in Milwaukee (USA) were not aware of local geography. Likely ASQ has not been able to line up anyone to proctor the exam in Bangladesh. If you have a Section in Bangladesh, it would also be worth contacting them.

There are some ASQ staff who in the past have kept an eye on this board. I would though suggest that you post this problem at the ASQ Discussion Boards under the Certification discussion board. (go to https://community.asq.org/forums/Forum5028-1.aspx for that board)
