I was shocked, I was in Europe for two weeks working, when I left gas was $3.67 a gallon, today it is $3.31 a gallon! This is in Central New York

Dang!! In the tiny little town where I work in northwest GA, gas at the one convenient store in town is $3.95/gallon!! It's $3.66/gallon in the town where I live...

What's up with that?!

I saw $3.05 this morning in Troy! Usually one of the worst places to fill up.
I have noticed that a bunch of stations are doing the different prices for credit and cash again. It's been a few years since I've seen that around here. What gets me is when they don't post it on the big sign, you pull up to the pump, swipe the card and see a price that is 10 - 20 cents a gallon more than posted. That is, unless you have one of their credit cards!

Any international input, cost per liter? I was in China and found that they wouldn't discuss their cost. I found it interesting the system they use and the best way I can explain it would be a socialist gas market. Our company (A) gets XXX liters ration per month or week. However, if our owner owns 2 or 3 companies with different names they too get XXXX liters. And that ration can be used as the owner sees fit. Being each company has one or two drivers and in most cases one company car the owner could have some of his ration left over to dispense or sell as he see's fit. I am not saying they don't pay for it all I am saying it is a rationing of some sort. My experience is in the Shenzhen, QuanZho and Shanghi areas only. Any other experiences in other country. I would truly like to read them.
