It occurred to me I forgot one very important place I like.....I feel so bad....

VEGAS! Especially Star Trek: The Experience at the LV Hilton :agree1: .....I was there this past Christmas.....great time.....and (comparitively speaking) not crowded. And no one has buffets like Vegas........

Hershal

I prefer Laughlin over Vegas. Vegas is too commercialized and Laughlin is more personal.

I forgot to put Manhattan on my like list... I've lived in commuting distance to the city my whole life so I kind of take it for granted.

Obviously many of you have not traveled to Texas; otherwise, it would be on your dislikes!

Born/ raised/ and living in Texas, I love this state. But my goodness it gets so hot here. This Summer was unreal. Some really neat things to see here.

Washington DC was a cool place to visit; lot's and lot's of stuff to do.

I would have to say that Mexico is my favorite. Those beaches in Cozumel were pretty awesome.

Likes: Casper, WY; Gilbert, AZ (the whole state, really); Jordan Valley, OR; homestate AL; TN & VA are nice, too; Frankfurt, Germany

Can't say that there are many places that I don't like, because I try to find something I do like about anywhere I go. There are plenty of things I don't like about certain places, but that doesn't mean I don't like the place in general. (Heat of summer in TX, NM, AZ, and the entire Deep South in particular; the traffic in big cities - and even in my small (20K or so?)hometown - is certainly a dislike.)

I've been to and liked all of them:
LaGrange, Georgia
Charlotte, North Carolina
Phoenix, Arizona
Lake Tahoe, Nevada
and the New Jersey Airport....for a 1 hour layover!

All of these trips were for business except Lake Tahoe. So if it weren't for my Customers, I'd almost never travel out of state. As you can see, I've led a sheltered life.

Well, that was a previous employer (Puroflow Inc.) and Customer (Inflation Systems Inc.) LaGrange is a beautiful area. I was there 1 week with ISI. By the 2nd/3rd day, I had picked up a Georgia accent. It just came naturally - very strange.
So, I don't have a requirement yet with my current employer to go traveling anywhere. I visited Charlotte, North Carolina for my current employer. I had to give a presentation (year was 2000) to some "suits" at the NASCAR headquarters! Yeah, I was a bit nervous - I was the only female and the youngest by far!
