A question for the DoE-experts in the Cove
What is your experience with plans for optimization: Are "normal" plans (D-optimal, centroid plans, etc.) sufficient or is it necessary to take high sophisticated plans e. g. due to breaking points in the response function?
I know that this question couldn't be answered in general, my focus is on the plans you usually use.
Which plans do you prefer for optimization?
Any suggestions are appreciated
