Quality Control Inspector
A permanent mold foundry, specializing in copper/copper based alloys located in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, is seeking an inspector for hire.
Full-time (40 hours + additional overtime when necessary)
Good stability (Company in business 50+ years), with growing customer base and product line
Excellent pay and competitive benefits package
Immediate position opening
Primary responsibilities will include dimensional and visual in-process inspection of castings using inspection plans/drawing specifications.
Other duties include gage calibration, final inspection, incoming inspection of raw materials, prototype projects, etc.
Candidates are expected to have knowledge and experience reading drawings/blue prints and understand tolerance parameters. The use of measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, squares, height gage, optical comparator, etc.) are required, CMM/FARO, GD&T knowledge a plus.
Person must be able to use a computer for basic data entry, have basic math skills, good communication skills, be organized, and have a positive attitude. Reliability, good work ethics and honesty are a must. Be able to work independently showing good time-management skills, but must also be able to work as part of team.
