Yeah, i see real trouble finding enough auditors to keep up, to be honest.
DNVGL is our registrar. Our audit is scheduled for the week of May 11, 2020. We are not postponing for this exact reason. We have already started the process to get approval to do the audit remotely via Gotomeeting or Microsoft Teams or whatever works. We have orders from the defense, ambulance, fire and work truck industries. They have all let us know that we must continue to provide parts.
I don't have a problem with having a job and being vital to keeping the country running but I would much rather be working from home. All these standards bodies need to cut us, and our registrars, some serious slack. I understand that the auditors need to stay employed, too. Bring on the remote audit!
