PPAP for New Family Revisions when the Part has not changed

We have a customer who has multiple parts on their drawings. Each time there is a change to one part - all the other parts pop up for a PPAP.
This is rather a nuisance....We do a lot of PPAPs for this customer.

I'm trying to propose to the customer that we come up with a cover sheet - sort of an abbreviated design review sort of thing - that we can use in such cases. Instead of submitting a new PPAP for the parts, we can just verify the design hasn't changed and either just submit this form or - attach this to the front of the previous PPAP and submit as a package.

I guess I'm wondering if anyone else has dealt with this kind of thing and how you handled it.

Submit a warrant with comments stating the previous PPAP parts are dimensionally identical. If the added part is made include an ISIR for the dimensional changes only.

I would add that if the customer insists that you do non-value added or even nonsensical PPAP updates, that you discuss the cost involved and what will need to be ppassed on to the customer. That has clipped the wings of a few over-zealous, under-informed Q Mgrs....
