PPAP for one material but for several customers

Hello everybody,

I would like to ask you for help with initial sampling issue. When our subsupplier prepares initial samples for some material he normally creates one document following one methodology (VDA or PPAP or Q3P or ANPQP) depending on the customer. But when we will use the same material also for another customer they will require the same initial sampling protocol but on another form according to his own methodology. We think it is nonsense to ask from our subsuppliers the same document on three different forms.

Do you have the same experience and how do you solve this? Thanks

You should develop a generic reporting form and ask your customers to allow you to use it. If they insist on their own forms being used, you're stuck.
