PPAPs (How far down the tiers are we supposed to get PPAPs)?

There's nothing in the book that says you must submit supplier PPAPs.
Bringing back to life this thread, I'm new in the automotive industry and I'm working with PPAPs so I'm trying to learn as much as possible... But related to this comment by Jim, do you recommend if we purchase a product that then is sold to our customer, to include the PSW we signed to our supplier in the PPAP we are submitting to our customer as a way of "saying" that we "approved" the part they're selling us and that they meet all of our requirements (that includes our customer requirements)? I'm not sure if that is ok or if this documentation (PPAP from supplier) should be treated as "confidential".... what are your thoughts?

That was always my practice, Karlessi. I have had some customers (not many) request the full supplier PPAP package, but in general they are willing to accept the signed PSW as evidence that we did our due diligence with our suppliers.

Thank you for your fast response! I will continue to including it into our PPAPs :)

Ask your customer what's expected. No one here can tell you.
