Hello

What type of products will you be manufacturing PER API-6A?

Just gate valves, or will you also make API-6A flanges, connections, chokes, tees, crosses, crossovers, actuators, other end connections, etc.

If you have API's composite list you will see all of the equipment 6A covers. You will need a design file for each product you want to monogram.

Requirements of a design file.

Design and Development planning
Customer requirements
Technical interface
Customer acceptance doc
Manufacture’s acknowledgement

Design input
Equipment spec sheet
Applicable requirement

Design Output
Equipment parts reviewed
Material spec's
Welding WPS
Test procedures
Design Calculations

Design Verification
Approved by other then person designing product
Check list showing what guidelines you used, API/ASME/PED etc.

Design Validation
Data book, MTR's, NDE, Nace requirements, dim reports, etc.
Pressure functional testing reports.

I have done Design files for API-6A/16A/16C/17D/DNV/ABS/CE Marking (techfile), etc. Been working in the Oilfield for over 13 years as a Design Engineer. The cost of a design file (depending on if you have designs or not) can be from (US) $300 to $2000.

It looks you can give us some support for Design & manufacturing of API products.

We are already in this field as a parts manufacturer for Well Head and Christmas Tree equipments.
We have the expertise and faciltiy to manufacture Valves, Flanges& Fittings, and a Drawing documentation facility.
We wish to convert our capability towards obtaining API 6A,6D,16A,16C licenses,
we have direct access to middle east, and South East Asian market and already supplying parts to them.

We are looking for an expert guidance to kick start and finish with API-6A license.

Please advise, if you can so this for us.

Hello

I'm still new with this design packet for 6A

So would you have a checklist with signatures.

If I was needing design packet for all products in API6A

What is the API Auditor using to confirm I have everything.

Our Company is preparing for API Monogram for API 650 Tank. We have not built any tank so far. WE have ASME"U", "PP", "S" stamps. WE have fabricated high pressure piping system and installed for the refineries,

My question is how to fulfill the requirements in the application Part-1 item 19 and 35.

Hi All,

Our company is also going for API 6A. For that we have nominated one consultant. I am MR for system but I am confused how to complete all documentation. Can any body help me in this regards.
Is API certification so difficult to obtain ?

Are requirment are so difficult to acheive?

Can some body help me.
