Hi, could someone clarify 9.7.5 cl. requirements. Is hydraulic test applied only for pressure vessel or for whole pneumatic system (vessel, valves, cylinders)?
According to the rationale vessel is considered as container designed to hold material at high pressure. Later rationale mentions that this hydraulic test is to verify the adequacy of design. Does it mean the design of pressure vessel or it includes whole system? If manufacturer of compressor could provide that the vessel comply with 3x maximum pressure requirement could this clause be considered as Pass?
According 9.7 rationale other pressure parts should also comply with Figure 32 (in our case it is x3) safety factor, but in this case the hydraulic test is not needed if component manufacturer could provide related information?
