i wll be gratefull if i get practical examples of of preventive action in human resources ie potential effects,severity,ptontial causes, detection and th occurancies.
I would try to avoid having specific preventive action forms for various departments. All of the factors you listed are constant among a wide range of applications.
However, I can imagine your HR person may not understand how to apply terms like that - they are jargon. Even so, since HR is an important part of a well functioning QMS and almost every standard I have seen specifically asks for people to understand their roles in the QMS, your role could now be to assist HR in applying a preventive action in his or her own process.
The Clarksville-Montgomery County School System has a Preventive Action Procedure you can refer to. You can see its generic nature, yet appreciate its applicability outside the manufacturing floor.
