hi all,
I always thought this to be a bit in the gray area of the customer notification requirments of the PPAP manual.
table 3.1 in the manual gives a list of examples where customer notifications are required. One of them being the one that applies to product and process changes related to the components of production products. Notification would only be required when they affect customer requirements, being fit, form, function, durability and/or performance.
Does this mean that if a parrt is still meeting the print (and is still capable) after the change that we don't have to notify the customer of the change?
Are there any other ways of interpreting this?
Does someone has experience with the customer defining requirments of how to proof something does NOT affect FFFPD?
Thanks
Steven
