Auditor Questions:

Organization specifies its objectives in a rather general manner. It also specifies its processes. It is not clear how the general objectives of the organization are mirrored to the processes and how the measurable objectives for particular processes are being set.

How we can measure " measurable objectives for particular processes are being set".

Please help.

Thanks

Objectives are more related to the mision, vision, purpose of the business.
Processes are set and help to reach goals defined in objectives.

e.g. To increase % of sales at the end of the year, and define a responsible, in this case sales process.
To reduce a % of product rejects at 10% at the middle of the year, processes supporting this objective, manufacturing processes, maybe the inspection process.

Hope this clarify your question.
